59 Officers Promoted to Deputy Superintendent of Police and Equivalent Posts in Chhattisgarh

TFP Bureau, Raipur, June 6, 2025: The Chhattisgarh government has promoted 59 officers to the rank of Deputy Superintendent of Police (DSP) and equivalent positions, following a decision by the State Government’s Departmental Promotion Committee. The order, issued by the Home (Police) Department, covers officers from multiple cadres including Inspectors, Company Commanders, Platoon Commanders, Radio Inspectors, Sub Inspectors, and Senior Reporters.

Among the promotions, 46 officers have been elevated to the position of DSP. Notable names include Mr. Suresh Kumar Bhagat, Mr. Om Prakash Kujur, Ms. Shashikala (Markam) Uike, Mr. Vivek Sharma, Mrs. Mamta Sharma (Ali), Mrs. Swati Mishra, and many others from diverse regions and backgrounds.

In addition, seven officers have been promoted to Assistant Commandant posts, including Mr. Rustam Sarang, Mr. Naresh Kumar Nehru, and Mr. Manoj Kumar Gupta.

The promotion list also features three officers elevated in the DSP (Fingerprint) cadre: Mr. Ajay Kumar Sahu, Mr. Rakesh Kumar Narware, and Mrs. Vidya Johar. Mrs. Seema Ahirwar (Bhaskar) has been promoted to DSP (Reserved), Mr. Anil Kumar Kashyap to DSP (Special Branch), and Mr. Sanjay Kumar Shukla to DSP (Senior Reporter).

These promotions are expected to bolster the administrative and operational capabilities of the state police force as part of ongoing efforts to strengthen law enforcement leadership across Chhattisgarh.
