TFP Bureau, Raipur, June 13, 2025: Chhattisgarh is set to commence its annual “School Admission Festival” from June 16, a key initiative aimed at achieving 100% school enrollment and boosting the quality of education across the state. Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Dev Sai has called upon all public representatives to engage actively in this campaign to ensure no child is left out of the school system.
In a letter addressed to elected officials, the Chief Minister emphasized the collective responsibility needed to realize the ambitious goal of making Chhattisgarh fully literate. “Though the goal is challenging, it is not impossible. Together, through meaningful efforts from every section of society, we can ensure timely admission for every child,” he stated.
Highlighting the legal framework, Shri Sai reminded stakeholders about the Right to Education Act and the National Education Policy 2020, which seeks to reduce dropout rates to zero by class 12. The campaign calls on all to identify and eliminate barriers that prevent children from accessing education.
New Education Quality Campaign to Boost Learning
Alongside the admission drive, the government is launching the “Chief Minister Education Quality Campaign” focused on improving the educational standards in government schools. The administration has rationalized teacher postings to prioritize schools lacking educators, ensuring effective learning environments for all students.
Infrastructure Development a Government Priority
The Chief Minister also reaffirmed the government’s commitment to enhancing school infrastructure and basic facilities statewide. He urged public representatives to participate personally in their constituencies during the Shala Pravesh Utsav (School Admission Festival) to guarantee full participation.
A Call for Social Participation in Education
“We have built the foundations; now we must work together to improve them,” said Shri Sai, expressing hope that public leaders will spearhead this mass movement, fulfilling their social responsibilities. The initiative aims to transform Chhattisgarh into an educated, empowered, and self-reliant state through collaborative efforts.
This large-scale campaign marks a new chapter in the state’s approach to education, promising to increase school accessibility and enhance learning quality. With broad social involvement, Chhattisgarh is poised to set a benchmark for educational and socio-economic progress in the region.
