Chief Minister Sai highlighted ongoing efforts including two archery academies being set up in Raipur and Jashpur with NTPC collaboration at a cost of Rs 60 crore. He noted the participation of over 1.65 lakh athletes in the recent Bastar Olympics and reaffirmed the state’s incentive scheme rewarding Olympic medalists with up to Rs 3 crore for gold.
Also present at the meeting were Sports Minister Shri Tank Ram Verma, Chhattisgarh Youth Commission Chairman Shri Vishwajeet Singh Tomar, Sports Secretary Shri Yashwant Kumar, Sports Director Smt. Tanuja Salam, and Dr. Digpal Ranawat.
