CM Vishnu Deo Sai Invites PM Modi to Chhattisgarh’s Amrit Rajat Mahotsav

TFP Bureau, New Delhi, August 1, 2025: Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai met Prime Minister Narendra Modi today at Parliament House in New Delhi, extending a formal invitation to attend the Amrit Rajat Mahotsav in Raipur on November 1, 2025. The occasion will mark the 25th anniversary of Chhattisgarh’s formation, and CM Sai expressed hope that PM Modi’s presence as Chief Guest would add historic significance to the celebrations.

During the meeting, CM Sai also apprised the Prime Minister of the state’s major development initiatives and citizen-centric reforms. He emphasized that Chhattisgarh is progressing rapidly under PM Modi’s leadership, with a strong focus on inclusive growth and innovation.

CM Sai presented the state’s vision document, Anjor Vision @2047, which outlines a long-term strategy for achieving sustainable development in alignment with the national goal of Viksit Bharat. The roadmap prioritizes progress in key sectors including education, healthcare, agriculture, industry, environment, and digital innovation.

Highlighting legislative reforms, CM Sai informed the Prime Minister that the state has adopted the Jan Vishwas Bill 2025, inspired by the Centre’s Jan Vishwas Act 2023. The new law aims to enhance transparency and improve access to justice for ordinary citizens.

The Chief Minister also discussed the formation of the State Capital Region Development Authority (SCRDA) for Nava Raipur. The authority is overseeing the planned transformation of the capital into a modern, tech-enabled urban hub.

In the industrial sector, CM Sai shared that Chhattisgarh has received investment proposals worth ₹6.65 lakh crore from 84 companies between November 2024 and July 2025. The New Industrial Policy 2024–30 and the introduction of a Single Window System have improved investor confidence, with special incentives offered to industries generating large-scale employment. Key developments include India’s first semiconductor manufacturing unit in Nava Raipur and ongoing construction of an AI Data Center.

CM Sai also outlined progress in sectors such as textiles, pharmaceuticals, IT, and ready-made garments, which are being prioritized to position Chhattisgarh as an emerging industrial and technological hub.

In education, the Chief Minister said rationalization of schools and deployment of trained educators in tribal and remote areas are enhancing access to quality education. Integration of digital tools is playing a vital role in modernizing classrooms across the state.

He also updated the Prime Minister on two flagship projects — Medicity and Edu City. The Medicity in Raipur is expected to become a state-of-the-art healthcare hub, creating significant employment opportunities and strengthening the medical infrastructure in central India.

Addressing the issue of Naxalism, CM Sai said the state is witnessing growing success in rehabilitation and trust-building efforts. He noted that an increasing number of Naxalites are surrendering and reintegrating into society, thanks to the government’s sensitive approach. Simultaneously, rapid development of infrastructure — including roads, schools, healthcare, and communication facilities — is instilling hope and a sense of belonging among affected communities.

The meeting concluded on a positive note, with PM Modi reportedly appreciating the state’s forward-looking agenda and commitment to balanced development.
