TFP Bureau, Raipur, August 5, 2025: In a major administrative move, the Chhattisgarh government has reshuffled responsibilities of 11 Indian Administrative Service (IAS) officers across various departments, aiming to bolster governance and enhance administrative efficiency. The General Administration Department issued formal orders regarding temporary postings and additional charges.
The list of officers with their revised roles is as follows:
- Ms. Reena Baba Saheb Kangale (IAS-2003)
Currently Secretary, Food Civil Supplies and Consumer Protection Department. She has been assigned additional charge of Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management and Rehabilitation Department, Relief and Rehabilitation Commissioner, and Commissioner, Land Records. - Shri Avinash Champawat (IAS-2003)
Previously holding multiple roles including Secretary, Revenue and Disaster Management. He is now temporarily posted as Secretary, General Administration Department and given additional charge of Secretary, Public Grievance Redressal Department. - Shri Ritesh Kumar Agarwal (IAS-2012)
Director, Funds & Accounts and additional charge of Director, Pension, and Registrar, Firms & Societies. He is now temporarily posted as Managing Director, Chhattisgarh Medical Services Corporation, Raipur. This post is declared equivalent to the Senior Category IAS cadre post. - Shri Jagdish Sonkar (IAS-2013)
Managing Director, Antyavasayi Sahakari Finance and Development Corporation and Additional Secretary, Raj Bhawan. He is now temporarily posted as Director, Tribal Research and Training Institute. He is relieved from the additional charge of the same post. - Shri Prabhat Malik (IAS-2015)
CEO, CHiPS, and Additional Joint Secretary, Good Governance and Convergence. He is relieved from the additional charge of Joint Secretary, Department of Good Governance and Convergence. His other charges remain unchanged. - Shri Ravi Mittal (IAS-2016)
Commissioner, Public Relations and Additional CEO, Samvad. He has been temporarily posted as Joint Secretary, Chief Minister’s Secretariat and given additional charge of Commissioner, Public Relations and CEO, Samvad. - Smt. Jayshree Jain (IAS-2016)
Mission Director, State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM) and Additional Director, Swachh Bharat Mission (Gramin). She is now temporarily posted as Deputy Secretary, Forest and Climate Change Department. - Shri Deepak Kumar Agarwal (IAS-2016)
Controller, Food and Drugs Administration. He has been given additional charge as Secretary, Public Commission along with his current responsibilities. - Smt. Padmini Bhoi Sahu (IAS-2016)
Managing Director, CG Medical Services Corporation. She is now temporarily posted as Director, Treasury and Accounts, and assigned additional charge of Director, Pension and Registrar, Firms and Societies. - Smt. Hina Animesh Netam (IAS-2016)
Deputy Secretary, Raj Bhawan, Raipur. She is now temporarily posted as Director, Tribal Research and Training Institute. This post is declared equivalent to the Senior IAS Pay Scale from the date of charge. - Shri Ashwani Dewangan (IAS-2018)
Deputy Secretary, Forest and Climate Change Department. He is temporarily posted as Mission Director, State Rural Livelihood Mission (SRLM) and given additional charge of Director, Swachh Bharat Mission-Rural. This post is also declared equivalent to Senior IAS cadre in prestige and responsibility.
