TFP Bureau, Raipur, August 12, 2025 – The Chhattisgarh government will conduct the third lottery on August 19 for admissions to private schools under the Right to Free and Compulsory Child Education (RTE) Act. The process will allocate the remaining 25 percent reserved seats to eligible students from economically weaker and disadvantaged sections.
According to the Directorate of Public Instruction, this phase will include only the applicants who were not selected in the earlier rounds. No fresh applications will be required from parents or students. Officials confirmed that approximately 6,100 seats remain vacant under the 25 percent RTE quota in private schools across the state.
The RTE Act ensures that children from underprivileged backgrounds gain access to quality education without financial burden. By reserving a quarter of private school seats for these students, the scheme aims to bridge the educational gap and provide equal opportunities for academic growth. The upcoming lottery will determine final admissions for the 2025–26 academic session.
