TFP Bureau, Raipur, September 13, 2025: In a significant step towards strengthening science education, the Jashpur District Administration signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Vigyan Bharti on Saturday in the presence of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai. The agreement aims to foster scientific temperament among school students and connect them more closely with science and technology.
Under the initiative, a series of innovative programmes will be introduced in schools to nurture curiosity and encourage hands-on learning. The focus will be on making science education more practical, interactive, and experimental.
Vigyan Bharti has already been actively engaged in Jashpur through projects such as the Space on Wheels programme, science clubs, and national-level competitions like Vidyarthi Vigyan Manthan, all of which have inspired students towards science, mathematics, and technology.
Speaking on the occasion, Chief Minister Sai said the MoU would open new horizons for students in the district. “A new generation equipped with a scientific mindset will form the foundation of a self-reliant India and a science-oriented society,” he remarked.
The Chief Minister further emphasized that education and science are the most powerful tools for social change. He assured that the state government would continue to support all initiatives that strengthen scientific learning. The collaboration, he added, will not only enrich school education in Jashpur but also empower students to pursue innovation and build a brighter future with the light of science and technology.
