In his congratulatory message, the Chief Minister highlighted that the achievement holds special significance as a daughter of Chhattisgarh, Akanksha Satyavanshi, played a key role in the team’s success.
Akanksha Satyavanshi, a native of Kawardha district, served as the team’s Physiotherapist and Sports Science Expert during the tournament. Her expertise and dedication were instrumental in ensuring that the players maintained top physical fitness and recovery levels throughout their championship run. Chief Minister Sai praised her contribution, noting that her professionalism and scientific approach greatly supported the team’s outstanding performance on the world stage.
Recalling Akanksha’s earlier association with the Chhattisgarh Women’s Cricket Team and the Under-19 Indian Women’s Cricket Team, the Chief Minister said that her consistent commitment to the advancement of women’s cricket exemplifies Chhattisgarh’s growing contribution to national sports excellence.
