TFP Bureau,Raipur, November 26, 2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai led the state-level observance of Constitution Day in Raipur today by offering floral tributes at the statue of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar at Ambedkar Chowk. The ceremony, held with solemnity and reverence, honoured the principal architect of the Indian Constitution and celebrated his enduring contributions to equality, justice, and democratic governance.
Addressing the gathering, the Chief Minister described Dr. Ambedkar as a “towering symbol of social justice and constitutional morality,” whose ideas continue to guide India’s democratic progress. He said the Constitution remains the bedrock of the nation’s unity, integrity, and fundamental rights, and emphasized the responsibility of every citizen to uphold its values.
MLAs Shri Rajesh Munat and Shri Purandar Mishra, Raipur Mayor Smt. Meenal Chaubey, senior officials, public representatives, and a large number of citizens were present on the occasion. Together, they paid homage to Dr. Ambedkar’s lifelong commitment to social reform and nation-building.
The gathering reaffirmed its collective pledge to protect constitutional principles, promote unity in diversity, and strengthen the culture of democracy in daily life. Participants highlighted that observing Constitution Day serves as a reminder of the duties and responsibilities that accompany the rights guaranteed by the Constitution, and reinforces the shared resolve to build an inclusive and harmonious society.
