TFP Bureau, Raipur; Dec 20, 2023: The drive to issue Ayushman cards has witnessed significant progress in Rajnandgaon, with more than 8 lakh individuals benefiting from this initiative. Bharat Sankalp Yatra’s mobile van is at the forefront of this effort, aiming to raise awareness about the Government of India’s schemes and ensure citizens can avail themselves of the available benefits.
Under the Ayushman Bharat Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana, beneficiaries can now obtain Ayushman cards for themselves and their families free of charge using a mobile app. The process involves the use of Ration Card and Aadhar Card documents for verification. To obtain an Ayushman card, individuals are required to download the Ayushman app and Aadhaar Face ID app from the Play Store. Subsequently, logging into the Ayushman app, selecting the beneficiary option, and entering the necessary details such as mobile number and OTP will initiate the process.
Users are prompted to choose Chhattisgarh as the state, select the Ration Card option under the Scheme, and specify the district and family ID. The system displays information about family members, with Ayushman cards highlighted in green for those already created and orange for those pending creation. For the latter, users can select the Do e-KYC option and proceed with Aadhaar authentication, which includes options such as Aadhaar OTP, Finger Print, Iris Scan, and Face Identification.
Depending on the availability of the mobile number linked to the Aadhaar card, users can choose the appropriate authentication method. After completing the Aadhaar authentication, capturing a close-up photo, and providing address and mobile number information, users can submit the details. Once the KYC is authenticated, users can download their Ayushman cards immediately. In case of authentication approval delays, users are advised to wait for the process to complete. Complaints and suggestions related to Ayushman Cards can be addressed by contacting the toll-free numbers 104 and 14555.
Dr. AK Basod, the Chief Medical and Health Officer of Rajnandgaon, reported that the district has successfully issued Ayushman cards to 8,07,022 citizens under this scheme, showcasing the positive impact of this healthcare initiative.
