Pravasi Chhattisgarh Conclave on March 27–28 aims to tap NRI expertise and investment to accelerate the state’s development and global outreach.
TFP Bureau, Raipur, February 4, 2026: In a significant initiative to strengthen ties with Chhattisgarh natives living abroad and harness their potential for the state’s progress, the Pravasi Chhattisgarh Conclave will be organised in Raipur on March 27 and 28. The two-day event will be held with the support of the North America Chhattisgarh Association (NACHA) and the NRI Association of Chhattisgarh, bringing together members of the global Chhattisgarh diaspora on a common platform.
The conclave is expected to see participation from Chhattisgarh natives residing across several countries, providing an opportunity for dialogue, collaboration and long-term partnership with the state. Officials said registration for the conclave will begin shortly, with detailed guidelines to be issued in the coming days.
The primary objective of the conclave is to deepen the engagement of Non-Resident Indians (NRIs) from Chhattisgarh in the state’s social, cultural and economic development. By creating a structured forum for interaction, the government aims to channel the experience, expertise and global exposure of the diaspora into meaningful contributions to Chhattisgarh’s growth story.
During the two-day deliberations, focused discussions will be held on key sectors such as investment opportunities, employment generation, education, healthcare, tourism, industrial expansion and startup development. The conclave will also explore avenues for collaboration in technology transfer, skill development, innovation and global market access, areas where the diaspora’s international experience can play a catalytic role.
Senior government officials said the conclave is designed not only as a networking event but also as a strategic engagement platform to translate ideas into actionable partnerships. Entrepreneurs, industry leaders, social workers, educationists and experts from diverse fields are expected to participate, sharing insights and best practices from across the world.
Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai described the Chhattisgarh diaspora as an invaluable asset to the state. “Chhattisgarh’s citizens working abroad can give fresh momentum to the state’s development through their knowledge, experience and investment,” he said. The Chief Minister added that the state government is keen to see NRIs from Chhattisgarh play an active role in industrial growth, educational initiatives and social development, while also strengthening the state’s cultural identity on the global stage.
The Pravasi Chhattisgarh Conclave is expected to significantly enhance Chhattisgarh’s international presence and foster enduring connections between the state and its global community, positioning the diaspora as key partners in the journey towards inclusive and sustainable development.
