Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai shares festive cheer with officials, calls festival a symbol of harmony and unity
TFP Bureau, Raipur, March 4, 2026: The spirit of Holi came alive at the official residence of Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Wednesday as he celebrated the festival of colours with officers, employees and staff members in a vibrant and cordial atmosphere. The Holi Milan ceremony, organised at the Chief Minister’s residence office in the state capital, witnessed enthusiastic participation amid traditional ‘Phag’ songs, warm greetings and an exchange of colourful gulal.
The celebration reflected the essence of the festival, with officials and staff greeting the Chief Minister by applying gulal and extending their heartfelt wishes. Shri Sai reciprocated the greetings, personally interacting with attendees and conveying his best wishes for happiness, prosperity and well-being. The atmosphere was marked by camaraderie and festive cheer, symbolising the spirit of togetherness that Holi represents.
Addressing those present, the Chief Minister said that Holi is not merely a festival of colours but a celebration of mutual love, social harmony and unity. He noted that such occasions strengthen bonds among people and inspire society to move forward with positivity and renewed enthusiasm. “Holi teaches us to rise above differences and reinforce the spirit of brotherhood. It fills life with fresh energy and strengthens our collective resolve to work for the greater good,” he said.
Shri Sai expressed happiness over the cordial interactions during the Holi Milan ceremony, stating that sharing colours of affection and trust with colleagues, public representatives and citizens is the true beauty of the festival. He added that the affection and blessings of the people of Chhattisgarh motivate him to work with greater dedication towards the development and welfare of the state.
Extending his greetings to the people of the state, the Chief Minister wished that the festival brings joy, prosperity, good health and new opportunities into everyone’s lives. He prayed that the festival strengthens the path of progress and harmony in Chhattisgarh and that the state continues to scale new heights of growth and inclusive development.
Senior officials present on the occasion included Chief Secretary to the Chief Minister Subodh Kumar Singh, Director General of Police Arun Dev Gautam, Additional Director General of Police Amit Kumar, and Raipur Police Commissioner Sanjeev Shukla, along with officers and staff from the Chief Minister’s Secretariat and Residence Office.
The celebration concluded on a note of unity and goodwill, with participants expressing hope that the festival would usher in peace, prosperity and continued progress for the state.
