Motivational Address Highlights Importance of Health, Family Values and Continuous Learning; Cultural Performances, Workshops and Youth Activities Draw Huge Participation
TFP Bureau, Raipur, April 26,2026: The district-level Youth Fest-2026 concluded on an inspiring note with a motivational address by senior journalist Saurabh Dwivedi, who urged young people to remain physically fit, think positively and progress in life while staying closely connected to their families.
Addressing a large gathering of students, youth and women during a special session, Dwivedi emphasised that success in modern times depends on a combination of continuous learning, mental resilience and strong moral values. “In an era of rapid change, staying updated, maintaining a positive outlook and prioritising physical and mental health are the keys to success,” he said.
Two-Day Festival Celebrates Youth Talent
The festival was organised over two days, April 24 and 25, at the campus of the Government Post‑Graduate College, Dhamtari, where a wide range of activities were conducted to encourage creativity, skill development and innovation among young participants.
The event featured cultural programmes, traditional folk dance performances, startup-related workshops, sessions on education and skill development, art and culture exhibitions, and food stalls run by students and local groups. These activities provided a vibrant platform for youth to showcase their talents and explore entrepreneurial ideas.
The concluding day witnessed an energetic cultural performance by the popular Dayara Band (Jadu Bastar), whose lively presentation of regional music and rhythms captivated the audience and added a colourful cultural dimension to the festival.
Message of Health, Awareness and Family Values
In his address, Dwivedi advised young people not to be distracted by unnecessary criticism or misleading narratives circulating in society and on social media. Instead, he encouraged them to trust their inner voice, seek guidance from their families and focus on constructive personal growth.
“Family is the strongest support system for every individual. Young people must respect and care for their parents, siblings and loved ones while pursuing their ambitions,” he said.
Dwivedi also highlighted the importance of maintaining a healthy lifestyle. In today’s competitive world, he noted, both physical fitness and mental well-being are essential for sustained success. He urged students to adopt balanced routines that include exercise, proper rest and time management.
Women’s Participation Vital for National Development
Placing special emphasis on the role of women in society, the journalist said that the active participation of mothers and sisters in economic and social activities is crucial for building a stronger and more prosperous nation.
“When women contribute not only at home but also in education, entrepreneurship and community development, the progress of society accelerates,” he remarked. He encouraged women to maintain a balance between professional aspirations and family responsibilities while also prioritising their own health and well-being.
Awareness Against Misleading Information
Dwivedi also cautioned the youth against falling prey to misleading advertisements, misinformation and propaganda. He stressed that awareness, access to accurate information and thoughtful decision-making are essential for empowering individuals and safeguarding society.
He encouraged students to develop the habit of learning something new every day, upgrading their knowledge and refining their skills to remain competitive in an evolving world.
Dignitaries and Awards Ceremony
The event was attended by several prominent local dignitaries, including Ramu Rohra, Abinash Mishra, Krishna Jadhav and Vinod Pathak, along with professors from various colleges, media representatives and a large number of students.
During the concluding ceremony, Mayor Rohra felicitated the winners of various competitions organised during the festival by presenting them with trophies and certificates of appreciation.
Platform for Youth Development
Organisers described Youth Fest-2026 as a successful and inspiring initiative aimed at nurturing creativity, leadership and innovation among young people. By combining cultural expression, skill development and motivational guidance, the festival sought to provide a comprehensive platform for the holistic development of youth in the region.
Participants and organisers alike expressed hope that such events will continue to inspire students to pursue their ambitions with confidence, discipline and a sense of social responsibility.
