TFP Bureau, Raipur, May 1, 2025 : In a landmark move hailed as a testament to responsive governance, Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Dev Sai has brought long-awaited relief to over 2,600 dismissed B.Ed-qualified assistant teachers. With a historic decision to reinstate them as Assistant Teacher Science (Laboratory), the state government has restored hope and stability to thousands of families.
A delegation of the affected teachers met the Chief Minister at his residence today, expressing heartfelt gratitude and garlanding him in appreciation. The teachers praised Shri Sai’s leadership, saying he acted not just as a head of government but as a guardian of their futures.
“We read the worry on the face of every youth and understood the pain of every family,” said Chief Minister Sai, addressing the gathering. “This decision is a new beginning — one that will not only strengthen the state’s education system but also secure the future of Chhattisgarh’s youth.”
Deputy Chief Minister Vijay Sharma echoed the sentiment, stating, “The Chief Minister was unwavering from day one. He made it clear that no financial burden would come in the way of safeguarding our youth’s future.”
Many of the teachers recounted the mental stress and uncertainty they faced after their dismissal. They credited CM Sai’s compassion and assurance as a source of strength through difficult times.
“This isn’t just about jobs,” one young teacher said. “It’s about dignity, hope, and a government that listens. The Chief Minister kept his word, and we feel heard, seen, and valued.”
