TFP Bureau, Raipur, July 7, 2025: Chief Minister Shri Vishnu Deo Sai has lauded the courage and strategic efficiency of security forces following the successful operation that led to the neutralization of Maoist PLGA battalion deputy commander Sodhi Kanna in Chhattisgarh’s Bijapur district. The slain Maoist leader carried a bounty of ₹8 lakh on his head and was considered a key figure in the region’s Naxal network.
Commending the security personnel, the Chief Minister said, “This is a shining example of the valour and precision of our brave forces. Their coordinated action and strong public support have dealt another major blow to the weakening Naxal movement.”
Shri Sai reiterated the state’s resolve to eradicate Left-Wing Extremism and affirmed that the anti-Naxal campaign has gained decisive momentum under the leadership of Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi and Union Home Minister Shri Amit Shah. “We are fully committed to achieving the target of a Naxal-free nation by March 31, 2026,” he declared.
He added that repeated successful operations have significantly weakened the Maoist organization, and “Naxalism is now gasping for its final breath in Chhattisgarh.” The Chief Minister assured that the state government would continue its efforts with unwavering determination until every region experiences the victory of democracy, development, and peace.
