TFP Bureau, Raipur, July 29, 2025 — Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai today received a delegation of Members of Parliament from Kerala and Odisha, alongside a group of medal-winning kickboxing players, in two separate but significant meetings reflecting Chhattisgarh’s dedication to peace and youth empowerment.
The parliamentary delegation, comprising Lok Sabha MPs Benny Behanan (Chalakudy), K. Francis George (Kottayam), N.K. Premachandran (Kollam), Saptagiri Ulka (Koraput), and Kerala MLA Rosie M. John, called on the Chief Minister at Mahanadi Bhawan Secretariat. They discussed recent concerns regarding a conversion case in the state. CM Sai assured the delegation that Chhattisgarh remains a peace-loving state where all religious communities coexist harmoniously. He emphasized that the matter is under thorough judicial investigation and the law is functioning independently. The Chief Minister reiterated the government’s priority of ensuring safety and dignity for all citizens, especially the state’s daughters.

In a separate event, Chief Minister Sai warmly welcomed the state’s medal-winning players from the National Kickboxing Championship at his residence office. The athletes, including silver medalists Annu Devi Kunwar and Deepti Sahu, as well as bronze medalists Sanjana Kannaujiya and Harsha Sen, were congratulated for their outstanding performances. CM Sai encouraged them to continue their hard work and bring greater glory to Chhattisgarh on national and international platforms. The players were accompanied by their trainer Vishal Hiyal and senior officials from the Chhattisgarh Kickboxing Association, including State President Chhagan Lal Mundada and General Secretary Akash Gurudiwan.
Both occasions highlighted Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai’s focus on fostering harmony, justice, and sporting excellence across the state.
