Union Home Minister Amit Shah Arrives in Raipur for Two-Day Visit

TFP Bureau, Raipur, October 3, 2025: Union Home Minister Amit Shah arrived in Raipur this afternoon on a two-day visit to Chhattisgarh. Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai received him with a warm welcome at Swami Vivekananda Airport, presenting a bouquet as a gesture of respect.

A large contingent of senior ministers, political leaders, and top administrative officers joined the Chief Minister in welcoming the Union Home Minister. Among those present were Union Minister of State Tokhan Sahu, Assembly Speaker Dr. Raman Singh, Deputy Chief Ministers Vijay Sharma and Arun Sao, Finance Minister O.P. Choudhary, Agriculture Minister Ram Vichar Netam, and Tourism Minister Rajesh Agrawal.

Mayor Meenal Choubey, Member of Parliament Roopkumari Choudhary, Chief Secretary Vikas Sheel, Additional Chief Secretary Manoj Pingua, Director General of Police Arun Dev Gautam, IG Amresh Mishra, Divisional Commissioner Mahadev Kawre, and Collector Dr. Gaurav Singh also greeted Mr. Shah upon his arrival.

It is noteworthy that on October 4, the Union Home Minister will accompany Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai to Jagdalpur. The leaders are scheduled to participate in a series of programmes, highlighting the state government’s development agenda and strengthening coordination between the Centre and the State.
