Departments directed to regularly update progress on digital dashboards to accelerate achievement of Chhattisgarh’s long-term development goals
TFP Bureau, Raipur, February 16, 2026: In a significant step towards strengthening outcome-based governance and long-term planning, Chief Secretary Vikassheel on Monday conducted a comprehensive review of the Nava Anjor Vision @ 2047 Monitoring Portal at a high-level meeting held at Mantralaya Mahanadi Bhawan. The meeting was attended by secretaries and senior officials from all major departments of the Chhattisgarh government.
During the review, the Chief Secretary examined the key indicators and milestones identified under the Nava Anjor Vision @ 2047 framework, which outlines the state’s roadmap for inclusive, sustainable and future-ready development by the centenary year of India’s Independence. He instructed all departmental secretaries to ensure regular and accurate entry of data related to schemes, programmes and flagship initiatives on the monitoring portal.
Emphasising the importance of real-time monitoring, Shri Vikassheel said that timely updates on physical and financial progress, achievement of targets and key performance indicators would enable effective evaluation of government initiatives. “A robust and transparent digital monitoring system will not only help track progress but also identify gaps at an early stage, allowing for timely corrective measures,” he said.
The Chief Secretary further directed departments to actively use their respective online dashboards for periodic reviews and decision-making. He underlined that delays in data entry or lax monitoring could undermine the overall objectives of Vision 2047 and urged officers to treat the portal as a critical governance tool rather than a routine reporting mechanism.
Special emphasis was laid on inter-departmental coordination and convergence to ensure result-oriented implementation of development योजनाएं. The Chief Secretary noted that achieving the ambitious goals of Vision 2047 would require sustained collaboration, accountability and a clear focus on measurable outcomes across sectors such as education, health, infrastructure, livelihoods, innovation and social welfare.
Senior officials also made presentations on the current status of indicator-wise progress and discussed strategies to fast-track implementation in lagging areas. The meeting concluded with a consensus on intensifying monitoring efforts and aligning departmental priorities with the broader vision of transforming Chhattisgarh into a developed and self-reliant state by 2047.
The Nava Anjor Vision @ 2047 Monitoring Portal is envisioned as a central digital platform to track the state’s long-term development journey, ensuring transparency, efficiency and timely achievement of targets through data-driven governance.
