Registration opens on August 9; candidates advised to review admission rules, reservation norms and bond provisions before applying
TFP Bureau, Raipur, August 7,2026: The Office of the Commissioner, Medical Education, Chhattisgarh, has invited online applications for the first round of NEET-UG 2026 counselling for admission to MBBS and BDS courses in government and private medical and dental colleges across the state for the 2026-27 academic session.
According to the official notification, the online registration process will begin at 11:00 a.m. on August 9 and remain open until 11:59 p.m. on August 16. Candidates will be able to fill and lock their college preferences from August 9 to August 17.
The Directorate of Medical Education has advised applicants to carefully read the provisions of the Chhattisgarh Medical, Dental and Physiotherapy Undergraduate Admission Rules, 2025 before submitting their applications. Candidates have been specifically asked to review the rules related to reservation, counselling procedures and mandatory bond conditions to avoid any discrepancies during the admission process.
The application fee has been fixed at ₹1,000 for candidates belonging to the Unreserved (UR) and Other Backward Class (OBC) categories, ₹500 for Scheduled Caste (SC) and Scheduled Tribe (ST) candidates, and ₹10,000 for applicants under the Non-Resident Indian (NRI) category. The fee is non-refundable. Candidates have also been advised to refer to the official notification for details regarding the prescribed security deposit required for counselling.
The Commissioner of Medical Education has urged eligible candidates to complete the registration process within the stipulated schedule and verify all details before final submission of their applications.
